Bertil Nyheim is a professional dog trainer and operator of Nyheim Hunde- og Fritidssenter. In addition, he breeds hunting dogs under the kennel name Nyheimguten
Nyheim Hunde- og Fritidssenter operates a dog hotel, training and guidance for dog and owner, accepts dogs on training stays and offers guided hunting packages.

Bertil is Norwegian champion several times with his standing bird dogs, and he has also won many other hunting tests. He can regularly be seen on the results lists with his own and other people’s dogs. Bertil makes great demands on himself in order for him to be able to succeed again with the dogs that are put to hunting tests.
For Bertil, dogs and dog training are a way of life, which takes up a lot of his time. Bertil travels around the country for training, hunting and hunting trials with his own dogs and dogs that live with him during training stays.
