This feed features a unique combination of probiotics, prebiotics, postbiotics and beta-glucans to provide holistic support for your dog’s microbiota.

• Probiotics supply live beneficial bacteria and help support stable gut health.
• Prebiotics are specialised dietary fibres for digestion. In Appetitt Vitality Care, we combine several types of prebiotics: mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) from Norwegian spruce, fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) from beet fibre, and psyllium husk. MOS may help prevent unwanted bacteria from adhering to the intestinal lining. FOS serve as nourishment for beneficial bacteria. Psyllium seed husk provides water-soluble fibres with high water-binding capacity and excellent swelling properties, which may contribute to increase satiety.
• Postbiotics consist of fermented, inactive yeast that provides nourishment for beneficial gut bacteria.

Probiotics, prebiotics, and postbiotics work together synergistically to promote a healthy gut flora — the dog’s microbiota. The feed also contains a high level of B vitamins, which are essential for digestion.

In addition to its unique digestive support, it is worth noting that this feed:

• Contains only animal protein sources from marine raw materials.
• The fish protein ingredients are sourced from waters outside Norway, ensuring a short distance from catch to food bowl.
• Contains omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) supplied from Antarctic krill and fish oil from whitefish from the Norwegian Sea. Omega-3 from krill is highly bioavailable in the dog’s intestine, and is sourced from sustainable fisheries (MSC certified).
• Contains krill, which provides astaxanthin — a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the body’s cells.
• Uses natural antioxidants such as vitamin E and rosemary, which, together with beta-1,3/1,6-glucans, may contribute to the dog’s overall health.

Appetitt Vitality Care Digestion 12 kg comes with medium-sized kibble, designed for medium and large dogs. The food is also available in a 3 kg bag with small-sized kibble for small dogs.
