Appetitt Weight Control has a moderate calorie content that might help control your cat’s weight. With the exception of rice, the food is grain free and high in hydrolysed proteins from chicken and salmon. Thus, the food is low in ingredients that can lead to intolerance and allergies.
The food is low in fat but high in the vital omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA in the form of phospholipids from Antarctic krill. Ideal ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids and a high content of vitamin E and rosemary for your cat’s joints, skin, coat and overall health.
- Carnitine might contribute to energy and fat metabolism and thus reduce the risk of overweight.
- Psyllium husk are high in fermentable and water-soluble fibres and contribute to gastrointestinal function. Husk from these seeds have very good water binding ability and swelling properties, so can also contribute to increased satiety.
- Natural glucosamine and chondroitin from salmon and chicken for joint and bone health. Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) from beet fibre for digestion.
- Beta-glucans from yeast for your cat’s overall health.
Appetitt Weight Control is also suitable for neutered and sterilised (spayed) cats.
